The whole is encircled by a circular frame decorated with interlace patterns and solar medallions, in shades of bronze and amber.

What you receive: a flat print

Let's be clear from the start: this item is a 2D print. The design imitates a carved relief very convincingly, but the surface is perfectly smooth — no engraving, no volume, no cutouts. It is a quality print, not a carved piece. We prefer you to know this before ordering rather than upon opening the package.

The story behind the design

The longship was more than just a vessel: it was the very condition of Norse expansion. Its shallow keel allowed it to travel up rivers as well as face the Atlantic. The dragon's head at the bow was removable — it was taken down when approaching friendly coasts so as not to offend the local spirits.

Specifications

Material: Printed wood

Dimensions: Diameter: 20 cm (8 inches)

Print: 2D flat, smooth surface, no relief

Installation: Wall-mounted, ready to hang

Installation and maintenance

Lightweight, it can be attached to almost any surface: nail, screw, adhesive pad, or double-sided tape, depending on your wall.
