General Terms and Conditions of Sale and Use — Le Comptoir Viking

Welcome to le-comptoir-viking.fr. These General Terms and Conditions of Sale and Use (hereinafter "the Terms") form the contract governing all relations between the online shop le-comptoir-viking.fr (hereinafter "the Seller") and any natural or legal person making a purchase (hereinafter "the Customer"). Placing an order implies full and unreserved acceptance of these Terms.

2. Purpose and acceptance
These Terms define the contractual relationship between Le Comptoir Viking and the buyer. Buying a product, whether an accessory or a piece of Viking jewelry, implies the buyer's unreserved acceptance of these conditions.
3. Products and conformity
Characteristics: products are presented with descriptive pages and photographs intended to represent them as faithfully as possible. The Seller cannot be held liable for non-substantial differences between the product and its description, in particular shades of color or slight variations inherent to manufacturing.
Availability: our offers are valid as long as they are visible on the website, while stocks last. If an item becomes unavailable after the order has been confirmed, the Seller informs the Customer by email and offers an exchange or a full refund.
4. Prices
Display: prices are shown in euros (€) including all taxes, excluding the contribution to shipping costs.
Changes: Le Comptoir Viking reserves the right to change its prices at any time. The product is invoiced at the price in force when the order is placed.
5. Orders and payment
Formation of the contract: the order is deemed final when the Customer validates the cart and pays in full. A confirmation email is then sent.
Terms of payment: the full amount is paid in a single payment on the day of the order.
Security: payments are made through secure platforms (SSL/TLS).
6. Delivery
Areas served: mainland France, the European Union, Switzerland, the French overseas territories, Canada and the United States.
Processing time: 3 to 5 working days between order confirmation and shipment.
Transit time: 7 to 15 working days for mainland France, 10 to 20 working days for the European Union, 15 to 30 working days for Switzerland, the overseas territories, Canada and the United States, after processing.
Delivery guarantee: if the parcel has not been delivered within 60 working days, Le Comptoir Viking will immediately send it again or give a full refund.
The applicable conditions, costs and times are detailed in the Shipping Policy, which the Customer declares having read before confirming the order.
7. Right of withdrawal and legal guarantees
Right of withdrawal: the Customer has a legal period of fourteen (14) calendar days to exercise the right of withdrawal, as set out in the Returns and Refunds Policy. Items must be returned new and in their original packaging.
Legal guarantees: all products benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity and the legal guarantee against hidden defects, in accordance with the French Consumer Code and Civil Code.
8. Intellectual property
All elements of the website (texts, logos, images of tankards or jewelry) are and remain the exclusive intellectual property of Le Comptoir Viking. Any reproduction is strictly prohibited without prior authorization.
9. Customer service, applicable law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, and failing an amicable settlement, the French courts shall have sole jurisdiction.
