This collection brings together our Viking wall art and textiles: large printed polyester tapestries, 20 cm aluminum plates, a wooden disc, a relief plaque, and matching tablecloths. It is the department that changes an entire room for the price of an accessory.
What size tapestry for which wall
Our tapestries come in seventeen sizes, from 95 × 70 cm to 400 × 230 cm. That is a lot of choices, and this is where the success or failure of the purchase lies: a tapestry that is too small floats on a bare wall, one that is too big folds in the corners. Here are the combinations that work.

The simple rule. Measure the width of the piece of furniture under which the tapestry will be hung, then choose a size approximately one and a half times that width: above a 180 cm sofa, a 250 to 280 cm wide tapestry provides the right balance. On a bare wall without furniture, aim for two-thirds the width of the wall and leave an equal margin on each side.
A second point, often overlooked: ceiling height. A 230 cm high tapestry will not fit in a 240 cm room without touching the floor. Measure before you order, not after.
Three ways to dress up a wall
Polyester tapestries cover the most surface area for the least money. They hang with double-sided tape, thumbtacks, a rod passed through a hem, or simply four nails. The fabric is flexible, folds for storage, and can be ironed at a low temperature if creased.
20 × 20 cm 2D aluminum plates do the opposite: little surface area, a lot of presence. The printing is direct on metal, the colors are vivid and fade-resistant, and a plate of this size can be placed where a tapestry would look ridiculous—between two doors, above a light switch, or in a series of three on a staircase. They can be attached with adhesive putty or double-sided tape depending on the surface.
Finally, the Odin & Thor relief plaque, made of metal and resin, measures 22 × 21.7 cm with a depth of 10 cm: it is not printed, it is sculpted, and requires a mounting method suited to its weight.
The motifs
Odin's ravens, Huginn and Muninn, dominate the collection: perched under a runic moon, framing an eye of wisdom, howling in a circle of runes, or flying over two crossed axes. Next come the Vegvísir associated with longship bows, the Gungnir spear in front of the gates of Valhalla, Odin's triple horn, Mjölnir on a background of shields and axes, and beasts intertwined in the Scandinavian animal style.
As for the plates, the themes are more direct: Fenrir wolves with burning eyes, crowned dragons, a golden compass rose, helmets and axes under the word "Valhalla," and "Welcome" designs meant for a front door. Care
The polyester of the tapestries and tablecloths is machine washable at 30°C on a delicate cycle, without bleach, and should be air-dried—never tumble dried, as it shrinks the print. A warm iron on the reverse side removes fold lines. The printed aluminum only needs a damp cloth; it does not rust and can withstand a bathroom environment.
Frequently asked questions
What size tapestry should I choose? Approximately one and a half times the width of the furniture placed below it, or two-thirds the width of the wall if it is bare. Also check your ceiling height: several formats are over 180 cm high.
How do I hang a tapestry without damaging the wall? Double-sided adhesive tape for sizes up to 150 cm, thumbtacks or small nails for larger ones. A rod passed through a hem gives the cleanest look.
Are the tapestries washable? Yes, machine washable at 30°C on a delicate cycle, air-dry. Tumble drying is to be avoided.
What are the wall plates made of? Printed aluminum, in 20 × 20 cm. The printing is direct on the metal: the colors do not chip and are moisture-resistant.
Can you put a plate in a bathroom? Yes, for the aluminum ones. Avoid fabric tapestries there, which permanent humidity will eventually mark.
Do the tablecloths match the tapestries? They feature the Yggdrasil and raven motif, in eight sizes from 90 × 140 to 140 × 300 cm, with a 50 × 50 cm napkin.
