The Eye of Horus and the Key of Life
A stainless steel pendant cut into a tapered point, featuring two gold-relief symbols on its face: the Eye of Horus at the top, and the Ankh below, set against a finely grid-patterned background. Both edges are engraved with hieroglyphs along their entire length. Approximately 5 cm high, on a 60 cm braided chain, available in silver, black, or gold finish.
Two Symbols of Ancient Egypt
The Wadjet, the Eye of Horus, refers to the myth of the eye torn out by Seth and then restored by Thoth: it became a sign of protection and healing, painted on the prows of boats and placed in tombs. The Ankh, the looped cross, is the key of life that the gods offer to the pharaohs in funerary frescoes. Two of the most recognizable motifs in Egyptian iconography.
