The bird that is reborn
A phoenix with wings spread wide, stepped tail, plumage chiseled feather by feather on both sides. Stainless steel, approximately 4 cm high, on a 60 cm braided chain.
A symbol from elsewhere
Let's be frank: the phoenix is not Nordic. It comes from ancient Egypt — the bennu — and from Greece, which made it the bird that rises from its ashes. The North, for its part, has its own birds: the ravens Huginn and Muninn, who report the world to Odin, and the nameless eagle perched at the top of Yggdrasil, in perpetual strife with the dragon Níðhöggr through the mediation of the squirrel Ratatosk. If this is the symbolism you are looking for, read our article on Odin's ravens.
Where the phoenix really comes from
Its oldest mention is Egyptian: the bennu, the sacred heron of Heliopolis, associated with the rising sun and the flooding of the Nile. Herodotus, in the 5th century BC, reports what the Egyptian priests told him about it — a bird that returns every five hundred years to carry the remains of its father — while honestly specifying that he only half believes it. It was the Greeks who turned it into the phoinix rising from its ashes, and the Romans who drew from it a symbol of eternity, even stamping it on their imperial coins. None of these traditions are Nordic — but they all say the same thing: what burns can begin again.
The detail of the craftsmanship
Approximately 4 cm high. Each feather is marked individually on both wings and on the stepped tail, with the recesses blackened to give depth to the relief.

Does the phoenix exist in Norse mythology?
No, and we will not pretend otherwise. The phoenix comes from Egypt and Greece; the birds of the North are Odin's ravens, Huginn and Muninn, and the eagle perched at the top of Yggdrasil.
How fine is the detailing?
Each feather is marked individually on the wings and on the layered tail, with blackened recesses that accentuate the relief.
Is it men's or women's jewelry?
It is unisex. Its medium size — about 4 cm — and its animal motif suit both.
