The world's most widespread amulet, and it's blue for a specific reason
A fine steel chain punctuated with enameled eyes — concentric blue, white, and black circles — repeated along its entire length. An extension chain allows for adjustment.

What sets this piece apart
- The motif is repeated, not unique: a dozen eyes follow one another, making the bracelet visible from all sides of the wrist.
- The enamel is fired, not painted: the colors are embedded in the material and will not chip at the first impact.
- This is not a Norse motif: the nazar comes from the Eastern Mediterranean. We prefer to state this rather than disguise it as a Viking amulet.

Did you know?
The nazar — the blue eye against the evil eye — is arguably the most common amulet on the planet, and its color is no coincidence. The belief originates in the Eastern Mediterranean and Anatolia, where the vast majority of the population had dark eyes: light eyes were rare, therefore remarkable, and therefore suspicious. People began wearing a blue eye to deflect the feared gaze back to the sender. Excavations have revealed ocular beads made of blue glass dating back to the 3rd millennium BCE — the process hasn't changed in five thousand years.

What is the evil eye?
A Mediterranean and Near Eastern belief that an envious look can bring bad luck. The blue amulet is supposed to send it back.
Why is the eye blue?
Because in the regions where the belief originated, light-colored eyes were rare and therefore considered unsettling. People wear that color to protect themselves from it.
Is it a Viking symbol?
No, not at all. It comes from the eastern Mediterranean and is found today from Turkey to India.
Can the enamel chip?
The enamel is fired into the setting, not painted on the surface. It stands up to everyday wear.
