What sets this piece apart
- Everything is openwork: your skin shows through the grid, which lightens a top of this size instead of turning it into a solid block.
- The band adjusts: it tightens or widens by hand, no size to choose.
- The pattern reads from afar: it is one of the few geometric designs that stays recognizable at a distance.

Did you know?
The oldest known example of this pattern appears on a column of the Osireion at Abydos, in Egypt — and it was not made by the Egyptians. Analyses date the design to the Greco-Roman period: it was drawn in red ochre by later visitors on a monument that, in their eyes, was already more than a thousand years old. As for the name “Flower of Life”, it dates from the 20th century: it was popularized in the 1990s. An ancient motif, a recent name, and an attribution that was off by a millennium.
To go further, our Viking Ring section gathers the other designs, and our Viking jewelry covers the rest of the shop.
