A gaping maw atop the finger

Geri and Freki, Odin's wolves
Their names mean the same thing: the greedy one. The Grímnismál describes a strange scene — in Valhalla, Odin feeds only on wine and throws all his meat to his two wolves. The supreme god, surrounded by his feasting warriors, does not eat. Along with the ravens Huginn and Muninn, the wolves form his animal retinue: two that see all, two that devour all. Choosing your size
US sizes: 7 US ≈ 54 FR, 8 ≈ 57, 9 ≈ 59, 10 ≈ 62, 11 ≈ 65, 12 ≈ 67, 13 ≈ 70. Wrap a strip of paper around the base of your finger, mark the overlap, and measure in millimeters: this is your French size. As the volume is concentrated on the top, the band remains slim and slips over the knuckle normally.
Sköll and Hati, the wolves chasing the sky
Beyond Fenrir, Norse mythology includes two others, less well-known and equally unsettling. Sköll runs after the sun, Hati after the moon. The Grímnismál says they will catch them at Ragnarök, and that the sky will go dark. This is an image the Scandinavians used literally: when a luminous halo surrounded the sun — the phenomenon we now call a sun dog — they would say the wolves were closing in.

How is it different from the wraparound wolf ring?
This one concentrates all the volume on top of the finger: the head is massive, with open jaws and bared fangs, while the band stays more classic. The other model wraps the wolf's whole body around the finger.
Is the relief pronounced?
Very. The fangs, the nose and the fur are sculpted in three dimensions, with the recesses blackened to accentuate the depth.
