Fenrir, the wolf the gods chained

Son of Loki, he grew so fast that the Aesir became afraid. Two chains broke. The third, Gleipnir, was forged by dwarves from six things that do not exist: the sound of a cat's footfall, the beard of a woman, the roots of a mountain, the nerves of a bear, the breath of a fish, the spittle of a bird.
