The Abyss Knight's Sword — one hundred and two centimeters
The Greatsword of Artorias, from Dark Souls, made of PU foam with a rigid core: wide, hammered blade with bronze and verdigris highlights, asymmetrical crossguard with one curved, hook-like quillon, long ringed grip, and turned pommel. This is the longest piece in our collection.

What sets this piece apart
- 102 cm: it is a two-handed sword, and it has the dimensions to match. Magnificent on the wall, but think twice before carrying it indoors.
- The asymmetrical guard: one quillon curves into a hook, while the other remains straight — a detail from the original model that many replicas simplify.
- PU foam with a rigid core: a meter-long metal blade would be impossible to hold at arm's length. Here, it weighs almost nothing and has no sharp edges.
- Not a weapon: no sharp edges or pointed tips. This replica is made for costumes, reenactment, and wall display.

Did you know?
Artorias the Abysswalker is one of the most discussed characters from Dark Souls, released in 2011 — and one of the few whose ghost and armor are the only things we encounter. In the game, his sword features a legendary gameplay quirk: it is normally held with two hands, and its broken version is wielded differently. The motif of the fallen knight whose weapon is inherited is a recurring theme throughout fantasy — from Sigurd reforging Gram in the Völsunga saga to Aragorn receiving Andúril. FromSoftware draws from the same source.
To learn more, our anatomy of the Viking sword allows you to compare this design to that of a blade actually forged in the North.

Does this sword cut?
No. PU foam with a rigid core and no cutting edge: it's a costume and display replica.
Which game is this sword from?
From Dark Souls, released in 2011. It's the weapon of Artorias the Abysswalker, one of the best-known characters in the series.
Is it bulky?
Yes. At 102 cm, it's the longest piece in the collection: superb on a wall and in photos, but awkward in a crowd or indoors.
Is it held with one hand or two?
With two hands. The grip is long and the blade too extended for a comfortable one-handed hold.
