An Electric Green Tribal
This tribal print t-shirt features the shoulder design in vivid green on black. It is the most eye-catching of the three versions: the saturated green draws the eye from much further away than white or red on the same surface area.
The same design is available in red and white.
What Sets This T-Shirt Apart
Saturated green is the most difficult color to maintain on textiles: if poorly set, it turns khaki after a few washes.
- Lasting green: sublimation sets the pigment into the fiber, which preserves saturation where surface-applied ink would quickly fade.
- Visual reach: this is the version that is noticeable from the furthest distance: at ten meters, the green remains identifiable while the red blends into the black.
- Polynesian pattern: spirals and friezes from the Pacific tribal repertoire, not Nordic art—we say so frankly.
- Child and adult sizes: from 4 years old to 6XL, with the chest measurement for each size in the table above.
If you prefer a cool color on a Nordic subject, the turquoise wolf plays in the same luminous register.
Choosing Your Size
These measurements are for the garment laid flat, not your body. The width is taken from one armpit seam to the other; the chest circumference is this width multiplied by two. Allow for a one to two-centimeter tolerance: these garments are measured by hand.
| Size | Width flat | Chest circumference |
|---|---|---|
| 4 years (100 cm) | 29 cm | 58 cm |
| 5 years (110 cm) | 30 cm | 60 cm |
| 6 years (120 cm) | 32 cm | 64 cm |
| 8 years (130 cm) | 33 cm | 66 cm |
| 10 years (140 cm) | 34 cm | 68 cm |
| 12 years (150 cm) | 35 cm | 70 cm |
| 14 years (160 cm) | 36 cm | 72 cm |
| XXS | 38 cm | 76 cm |
| XS | 40 cm | 80 cm |
| S | 42 cm | 84 cm |
| M | 44 cm | 88 cm |
| L | 47 cm | 94 cm |
| XL | 50 cm | 100 cm |
| 2XL | 52 cm | 104 cm |
| 3XL | 54 cm | 108 cm |
| 4XL | 56 cm | 112 cm |
| 5XL | 58 cm | 116 cm |
| 6XL | 59 cm | 118 cm |
The foolproof method: take a t-shirt you already own and that fits you well. Lay it flat and measure from one armpit seam to the other. Compare this figure to the Width flat column: no calculations needed. This way, you are comparing garment to garment, without relying on a theoretical size—and it is precisely theoretical sizes that vary from one manufacturer to another.
The fit runs small: narrower in the shoulders and shorter in the body than a European cut of equivalent size. If between sizes, take the larger one: this is the advice that prevents the most returns.
A word on the letters. These sizes follow a specific nomenclature, and beyond XXL, mainstream Western ready-to-wear hardly uses them: a 4XL, 5XL, or 6XL does not correspond to any standard local size. Worse, the same letter does not mean the same thing from one manufacturer to another: in this category, an "L" can range from 94 to 112 cm in chest circumference depending on the model. Do not trust the letter, trust the centimeter.

Did you know?
In Samoa, the male tattoo has a precise name, the pe'a, and it covers the area from the waist to the knees without interruption. The process takes several days, sometimes several weeks, and is done with the au, a bone comb struck with a mallet. The essential point is social: a man who gives up halfway keeps an unfinished mark, called pe'a mutu, and the dishonor extends to his family. Conversely, one who goes all the way earns the right to serve chiefs during ceremonies. The pattern is therefore not a chosen ornament, but an acquired status—a logic that Europe never had for its own tattoos.

Is the green fluorescent?
No, it is a saturated green, but not fluorescent. It brightens through contrast with the black, without any glow-in-the-dark effect.
Is this a Viking motif?
No, it belongs to the Polynesian tribal repertoire. We point this out rather than let you think it has a Norse origin.
What is the Samoan pe'a?
The traditional male tattoo, which covers the body from the waist to the knees. Giving up partway through leaves an unfinished mark, the pe'a mutu, which is considered dishonorable.
Will the green fade?
Not if you wash it inside out at 30 °C without fabric softener. Fabric softener dulls saturated colors faster than temperature does.
