A Howling Wolf on a Light Background
This all-over print Viking t-shirt reverses the convention of the department: light background, dark motif. A howling wolf occupies the chest, a Vegvísir unfolds beneath it, and black interlace patterns run up the sleeves. It is one of only three light-colored models in the entire department. What Sets This T-Shirt Apart
A dark print on a light background demands a clean design: on white, there is nowhere to hide a flawed line.
- Light background: the only style in the department that can be worn in summer without absorbing heat, and a complete change from the usual black palette.
- Sublimation: the ink enters the fiber: no layer on the surface, therefore no cracking on the crease areas.
- Dense composition: the wolf, the compass, and the interlace patterns interlock without leaving any gaps — the garment reads as a single piece.

Choosing Your Size
These measurements are for the garment laid flat, not your body. The width is measured from one armpit seam to the other; the chest measurement is this width multiplied by two. Allow for a tolerance of one to two centimeters: these garments are measured by hand. The manufacturer does not provide measurements for XS.

The foolproof method: take a t-shirt you already wear that fits you well. Lay it flat and measure from one armpit seam to the other. Enter this number in the Flat width column: no calculations to make. This way, you compare garment to garment, without going through a theoretical size — and it is precisely these theoretical sizes that vary from one manufacturer to another.
The cut runs small: narrower in the shoulders and shorter in the body than a European cut of the equivalent size. Between two sizes, choose the larger one: this is the advice that prevents the most returns.
A word on the letters. These sizes follow a specific nomenclature, and beyond XXL, standard Western ready-to-wear practically never uses them: a 4XL, 5XL, or 6XL does not correspond to any common standard size. Worse, the same letter does not mean the same thing from one manufacturer to another: in this department, an "L" ranges from 94 to 112 cm of chest circumference depending on the model. Do not rely on the letter, rely on the centimeter.

Did you know?
The wolf very nearly disappeared from Scandinavia, and much more recently than one might imagine. In Sweden, the species was considered functionally extinct at the end of the 1960s after centuries of bounties for culling. The current population does not descend from a local survival: genetic analyses show that it was re-established in the 1980s by a handful of individuals from Finland and Russia — two, then a third at the beginning of the 1990s. In other words, the wolves that today roam the forests where the Vikings heard them howl are, genetically, very recent immigrants.

Is the T-shirt entirely white?
The background is light and the black design covers much of it, including the sleeves and the back. There's no large white area left bare.
