Renaissance magic, not Satanism
A wide open band in gold-tone steel, engraved with a pentacle surrounded by Hebrew and Latin inscriptions — ALPHA, OMEGA, AGLA, ADONAI. The ring adjusts by pinching it.

What sets this piece apart
- The engraving covers the whole surface: central pentacle, a ring of names, planetary symbols around the edge. There is plenty to look at up close.
- Open, so adjustable: pinch to tighten, pull apart to widen. No size to choose.
- A piece apart in our catalog: it belongs to Western ceremonial magic, not to the Norse repertoire. We would rather say so.

Did you know?
This pentacle comes from Renaissance ceremonial magic, that of Latin grimoires such as the Clavicula Salomonis — the “Key of Solomon” — copied from the 15th to the 18th century. The words engraved around the star are divine names: Tetragrammaton refers to the four Hebrew letters of the name of God, AGLA is an acronym of a blessing formula, and Alpha and Omega come from the Book of Revelation. This is Christian and Hermetic occultism, produced by learned clerics — the exact opposite of what the general public projects onto it today.
To go further, our Viking Ring section gathers the other designs, and our Viking jewelry covers the rest of the shop.

Is this symbol satanic?
No. It comes from the Christian and Hermetic ceremonial magic of the Renaissance, notably the Key of Solomon. The engraved words are divine names.
What does Tetragrammaton mean?
The four Hebrew letters of the name of God, YHWH. It's a term from theology, not from dark occultism.
How do I adjust the ring?
It's open-ended: squeeze it to tighten it, pull it apart to enlarge it.
Is it a Norse symbol?
No, not at all. It belongs to the learned Latin tradition, and we'd rather say so.
