Two Raven Heads, the Eye Engraved in a Spiral
These raven earrings show the bird in profile, with a long beak and an eye carved in a spiral in the manner of Norse knotwork, and a small red zircon set on the breast. They are often presented as an insect motif: it is a raven, and we prefer to call it by its right name. Find this product in our Viking earrings collection.

You recognize a raven by its beak: make it too short and it becomes a sparrow.

How are these different from your other raven earrings?

Is the raven a real Viking symbol?
Yes, one of the best-established. Huginn and Muninn accompany Odin in the Eddic texts, and the raven appears on banners and objects from the Viking Age. It is not a modern addition.
