A Winged Sword on Three Faded Backgrounds
This Viking cap in faded denim cotton features an upright sword pointing downwards, framed by two outstretched wings and placed on a Valknut, beneath the word "Valhalla". The design is rendered in a light blue-green, identical across the three colors: black, sand, and navy, all with a faded finish. Find it in our Viking caps collection.

Out of the six caps in the department, this is the only one to combine an aged material with a colorful design.

Did you know?
Valhalla does not welcome all those who die in battle. The Grímnismál specifies that the goddess Freyja chooses half of the slain each day and takes them to her own dwelling, Fólkvangr — Odin only receives the other half. This detail is regularly omitted: in the modern imagination, the hall with five hundred and forty doors has become the sole destination for the warrior, whereas the texts describe a distribution, and the goddess serves the first.

Choosing your size
There is no size to choose. The six caps in this range are one adult size, adjusted with a strap at the back. They fit the vast majority of head sizes, from the smallest to the largest.
If you still hesitate: measure your head with a soft tape measure, just above the ears and eyebrows. A circumference between 54 and 60 cm fits easily within the adjustment range. Above 62 cm, the strap reaches its limit.
The three washed denim models (Yggdrasil, Odin and Valhalla) have a softer visor than the other three and bend without breaking. It is a difference in feel, not in size.
Care: hand wash at 30 °C only. Machine washing and spinning distort the visor, and the tumble dryer marks the washed fabrics.
What does the design depict?
An upright sword, point down, flanked by two outspread wings, all set on a Valknut, with the word “Valhalla” above.
What are the three colors?
Washed black, washed sand and washed navy. The design stays the same, in a light blue-green on all three.
Is the material the same as the other washed caps?
Yes, the same cotton denim fabric, washed after dyeing. As with the Yggdrasil and Odin models, each cap has its own shading.
Is the design embroidered?
No, printed — that is what makes the blue-green gradient possible, which thread could not reproduce.
