What defines Jörmungandr is not its head: it is the fact that it wraps around. The Midgard Serpent grows until it encircles the world and bites its own tail—the encirclement is the myth. The Scandinavians actually depicted this scene: the Altuna Runestone in Sweden shows Thor fishing, his line stretched toward the serpent, while one foot pushes through the bottom of the boat under the strain. An ear cuff that wraps around the ear recreates, in its own way, this gesture of entanglement.

No, it is sold singly, and you choose the ear when you order. A cuff that covers the full height of the ear is worn on its own.
Do I need a piercing?
None at all. It slides onto the edge of the ear and holds by pressure, like all our ear cuffs.

Is it suitable for a thin ear?
It adjusts by pressure on the cartilage, which leaves some room to adapt it. On a very thin ear, gently squeeze it tighter by hand after putting it on for the first time.
