What Sets This T-Shirt Apart
Layering three planes on a black t-shirt requires a clear hierarchy, otherwise everything blends together.
- Red runic background: the rune disc remains deliberately in the background, serving as a halo rather than the main design.
- Vertical lettering: the word runs down the side of the torso rather than across the chest: this elongates the silhouette.
- Aged finish: the solid colors are intentionally worn at the edges, which avoids the overly "brand new" look of prints that are too clean.
- Cotton: the only fabric on which a worn-effect print remains credible over time.

The range widens for larger sizes because the two known charts diverge starting at XL: one increases by 4 cm per size, the other by 6.
The foolproof method: take a t-shirt that you already own and that fits you well. Lay it flat and measure from one armpit seam to the other. Compare this figure with the Flat width column: no calculations required. You are comparing garment to garment, without relying on theoretical sizing—which is exactly where variations between manufacturers occur.
The fit runs small: narrower in the shoulders and shorter in the body than European cuts of equivalent size. When between two sizes, choose the larger one: this is the advice that prevents the most returns.
A word on letters. These sizes follow a specific nomenclature, and beyond XXL, standard Western ready-to-wear rarely uses them: a 4XL, 5XL, or 6XL do not correspond to any standard common sizing. Worse, the same letter does not mean the same thing from one manufacturer to another: in this department, an "L" can range from 94 to 112 cm in chest measurement depending on the model. Do not rely on the letter, rely on the centimeter.

Valhalla does not take all those who die in battle, and that is a detail that popular culture consistently overlooks. The Grímnismál, in verse 14, is explicit: every day, Freyja chooses half of the slain and takes them to her domain, Fólkvangr; only the other half goes to Odin. In other words, a goddess associated with fertility and love shares the spoils of the battlefield equally with the god of war. No series, no film, and almost no tattoo mentions Fólkvangr — but it is in the text, on the same page as Valhalla.

Do the runes in the background mean anything?
They form a decorative frieze, not a readable text. We will not claim to read a message in them: it is a graphic pattern built from runic shapes.
Is the red bright or dark?
Dark, almost burgundy. It blends with the black of the T-shirt rather than contrasting sharply with it.
