Four Sculpted Scenes on 50 Milliliters

Small format, full relief: each of these Viking shot glasses features a complete scene across its 6 centimeters of height. Interlace helmet, horned helmet, winged dragon, or crossed axes—four models to choose from, all in antique bronze with the same 50 ml steel insert. 151 g each, which is unusual for this size. Find it among our Viking tankards.

What Sets This Piece Apart

  • Double-walled: an outer shell of sculpted resin and a removable inner food-grade stainless steel insert. Your drink only touches metal.
  • Four distinct models: these are not colors but four different sculptures. Nothing stops you from gathering several for a table setting.
  • Relief on the entire circumference: the design goes all the way around, with no smooth back side.
  • 151 g for 50 ml: three times the weight of an ordinary shot glass. This is what surprises people most when holding it.
  • Hand-applied patina: the recessed areas remain dark, the edges catch the light. No two pieces are strictly identical.

Complete your table with our banquet pieces or an all-natural yak drinking horn.

Did you know?

An admission is necessary: the shot glass is not Viking at all, for one simple reason. Hard spirits require distillation, which did not reach Scandinavia until the 15th or 16th century—the word akvavit comes from the Latin aqua vitae. During the Viking Age, people drank beer, mead, and foreign wine in large quantities and from large vessels. However, the toast is well-attested: skál, which we still hear today, simply means "bowl" in Old Norse and never meant "skull," despite the persistent legend.
