A Red Pentagram at the Center of the Goblet
The goat head of Baphomet occupies the center of a pentagram inscribed within a circle, set against a blood-red background that contrasts with the aged silver of the rest. Around it, a frieze of skulls and Gothic scrollwork circles the goblet. Two snakes wind helically around the stem and meet at the base, which is also pierced with a red pentagram. 600 ml, the largest capacity of our stemmed goblets. Find it among our Viking goblets.
What Sets This Piece Apart
- Double wall: an outer shell made of sculpted resin and a removable inner cup made of food-grade stainless steel. Your drink only touches the metal.
- Translucent red background: it is applied under the silver relief, which gives the pentagram depth instead of a simple flat color.
- Two-snake stem: the bodies intertwine in three dimensions, with actual gaps between the coils.
- 600 ml: significantly higher than the 200 ml of our other goblets. It is a piece for ritual as much as for the table.
- Hand-applied patina: the recesses remain dark, while the edges catch the light. No two items are ever exactly identical.
Complete the table setting with our banquet pieces or a natural yak drinking horn.

Did you know?
Baphomet has a much shorter history than one might think. The name appears for the first time in confessions extorted from the Templars during their trial, between 1307 and 1312: historians today see it as an Occitan deformation of "Mahomet," heard by crusaders. The figure that everyone recognizes today—goat head, wings, torch between the horns—is not medieval at all: it was drawn in 1856 by the French occultist Éliphas Lévi for his Dogme et Rituel de la Haute Magie. He called it the Goat of Mendes and saw it as an allegory of the balance of opposites, not an idol.

Other pieces for your feast table:
Dragon, skull or warrior: which design to choose?
| Design | What the cup shows | Who to give it to |
|---|---|---|
| Dragon | Body coiled around the stem, wings spread, set gem; from smooth low relief to full sculpture | The widest and most crowd-pleasing choice: fantasy fans, gamers, collectors |
| Skull and bones | Curled horns, membranous wings, stacked vertebrae, friezes of small skulls | For a dark decor you already embrace, and for autumn and Halloween tables |
| Warrior and helmet | Bearded face or nasal helm in high relief, crossed axes, knotwork at the foot | The most understated and most historical register: saga readers, fans of Viking series |
| Raven | Red-eyed bird perched on a skull, frieze of feathers and small bones | A targeted gift, for someone who recognizes Huginn and Muninn without being told their names |
| Goat and pentagram this product | Baphomet head inside a pentagram on a red background, frieze of skulls | An occult, non-Norse register, for those who embrace this imagery; 600 ml, a 500 ml bottle plus the head |
What is the actual capacity?
600 ml, compared with 200 ml for our other chalices. It is the largest size in the stemmed range, weighing 800 g empty.
Can you really drink from it?
Yes. The inner liner is made of food-grade stainless steel and comes out completely for washing. The sculpted resin is only an outer shell.
Is it a Viking object?
No, and we prefer to say so clearly: the imagery is occult and neo-pagan, not Norse. It sits alongside our chalices because of its double-wall construction and its use, not because of its symbolism.
Can the red color run?
No, the color is protected by the finishing varnish and never comes into contact with the drink anyway. Just avoid the dishwasher and abrasive sponges.
