Four Fangs Clamped onto the Cartilage
This vampire fang ear cuff literally bites the ear: a jaw with four prominent canines forms the ring, and the tips meet almost at the edge of the cartilage. No piercing required; the piece clips on and is removed at will. Find this product in our Viking earrings collection.
In the same macabre vein but with a repeating pattern, the skull cuff covers the same area.
What Sets This Piece Apart
On a spiked cuff, the finish of the ends determines the comfort.
- Softened tips: the fangs are visually tapered but rounded at the ends, so they do not prick the cartilage.
- No piercing: the clip holds by elasticity and can be adjusted with your fingertips.
- Relief teeth: the canines stand out clearly from the molars, making the pattern legible even from a distance.
- Stainless steel: no staining upon prolonged contact with the skin.
For a predator rather than a jaw, the lion head cuff occupies the same spot.

Did you know?
The vampire is a Slavic and Balkan figure that arrived in Western Europe in the 18th century. But the North had its own dead who refuse to stay down: the draugr. Nothing like an elegant blood-drinker — the draugr of the Icelandic sagas is a corpse that swells, turns black like charred wood, possesses crushing strength, and jealously guards its burial mound. The Grettis saga tells of the most famous among them, Glámr, a shepherd who died on Christmas Eve and returns to haunt the valley, breaking the backs of animals and crushing men. Grettir eventually defeats him, but the draugr curses him before being decapitated: he will henceforth live in terror of the dark. The Nordic monster doesn't bite — it crushes, and it curses.

Are the points sharp?
No. They look pointed but are rounded at the tip: that's essential on a piece that stays in contact with the cartilage for hours.
Is the vampire a Norse myth?
No, it's Slavic and Balkan. The Norse equivalent is the draugr, an undead creature from the Icelandic sagas that doesn't bite but crushes. We'd rather make that clear than mix up folklores.
Is this cuff very noticeable?
It's clearly visible: it's a statement piece, not a discreet one. With long hair it's partly hidden; with short hair it's noticed immediately.
Is it suitable for thin cartilage?
Yes, the opening is easy to tighten with your fingertips. Squeeze gently a little at a time rather than all at once.
