Two Wolves Face to Face
This all-over print Viking t-shirt places two wolves nose to nose on the upper chest, mouths open and manes rendered in interlace patterns, above a Vegvísir surrounded by lines of runes that descend to the hem. The design covers the front, back, and sleeves: there is no blank fabric area. Find this style in our Viking t-shirts collection.
If you are looking for the same pair of wolves but placed on the shoulders, the shoulder wolves model shifts the composition upward.
What Sets This T-Shirt Apart
An all-over print cannot be judged like a screen print: the question is no longer the design, but how it connects across the garment.
- Continuous design: the artwork flows from the sleeves to the torso without a visible break—this is what separates a true all-over print from a large image placed in the middle.
- Sublimation: the ink penetrates the fiber instead of sitting on top: the design will not crack, peel, or be felt to the touch.
- Vertical composition: wolves at the top, compass in the center, runes at the bottom: the eye moves naturally downward instead of scattering.
- Lightweight polyester: dries quickly and maintains deep blacks, which all-over printed cotton cannot do.
For a single wolf that is much more frontal, see the white wolf face-to-face.
Choosing Your Size
These measurements are for the garment laid flat, not your body. The width is taken from one armpit seam to the other; the chest circumference is this width multiplied by two. Allow for a tolerance of one to two centimeters: these garments are measured by hand. The manufacturer does not document the XS measurement.
| Size | Flat width | Chest circumference |
|---|---|---|
| XXS | 48 cm | 96 cm |
| S | 50 cm | 100 cm |
| M | 53 cm | 106 cm |
| L | 56 cm | 112 cm |
| XL | 59 cm | 118 cm |
| 2XL | 62 cm | 124 cm |
| 3XL | 65 cm | 130 cm |
| 4XL | 68 cm | 136 cm |
| 5XL | 71 cm | 142 cm |
The foolproof method: take a t-shirt you already own and that fits you well. Lay it flat and measure from one armpit seam to the other. Enter this number in the Flat width column: no calculations needed. This way, you are comparing garment to garment, without relying on a theoretical size—and it is precisely theoretical sizes that vary from one manufacturer to another.
The fit runs small: narrower in the shoulders and shorter in the body than a European cut of the same size. If between two sizes, take the larger one: this is the advice that prevents the most returns.
A word on the letters. These sizes follow a specific nomenclature, and beyond XXL, mainstream Western ready-to-wear rarely uses them: a 4XL, 5XL, or 6XL does not correspond to any common standard size. Worse, the same letter does not mean the same thing from one manufacturer to another: in this category, an "L" can range from 94 to 112 cm in chest circumference depending on the model. Do not trust the letter, trust the centimeter.

Did you know?
Odin possesses two wolves, Geri and Freki, whose names mean roughly the same thing: "the greedy" and "the voracious." The Grímnismál specifies that Odin gives them all the food served to him and that he himself lives only on wine. They must be carefully distinguished from Fenrir: Geri and Freki are domestic companions, lying at the god's feet in his hall, whereas Fenrir is the one who will devour him at Ragnarök. The same animal, opposite roles—and it is precisely this ambivalence that makes the wolf, in Norse sources, both the sovereign's companion and the figure of the outlaw.

Is the back printed too?
Yes. That is the whole idea of an all-over print: the design covers the front, the back and the sleeves. There is no plain area.
Can you feel the print to the touch?
No. Sublimation sets the ink into the fiber, unlike screen printing, which lays a layer on the surface. The fabric stays smooth all over.
Do the runes in the design spell out a text?
No, they are decorative friezes built from runic shapes. We will not attribute any meaning to them.
Does this style fit like the cotton T-shirts in this section?
No, it comes in sizes XXS to 5XL and the measurement chart is shown above. Check it: these all-over prints do not follow the same size chart as our cotton styles.
