Two Full Octopuses, Not Just a Tentacle

These stainless steel octopus ear clips feature the entire animal: the rounded head, defined eyes, and eight arms that fold beneath the body. Most cephalopod jewelry settles for a single tentacle — here, the beast is complete, and that is what makes the visual difference. Find this product in our Viking earrings collection.

If you prefer the fragment over the whole animal, take a look at our Kraken tentacle hoops, which play the same card in a coiled format.

What Sets This Pair Apart

An ear clip is judged on three points: pressure, sculpting, and the finish of the contact point.

  • No piercing: the clip pinches onto the lobe and can be removed in a second, with no hole or healing time required.
  • Sculpting on both sides: the suckers and the skin texture are carved, not just printed on the visible side.
  • Softened contact: the part that touches the ear is smooth and free of sharp edges, allowing for hours of comfortable wear.
  • Stainless steel: no tarnishing or rust, even in the summer or at the gym.

To stay within a maritime theme without needing a piercing either, the tentacle ear cuff can be worn higher up on the cartilage.

Did you know?

The Kraken is not a Viking monster, and we prefer to set the record straight. No saga or Eddic poem mentions it. The first written description of a giant marine beast in Scandinavia appears in the Konungs skuggsjá, the Norwegian "King's Mirror" written around 1250: it speaks of the hafgufa, an animal so vast that sailors mistake it for an island and drop anchor on its back. The word "kraken" itself is much later — it wasn't until 1753 and the Norwegian bishop Erik Pontoppidan that it appeared in print. Seven centuries elapsed between the Viking Age and that name.
