A Handle Shaped Like a Fully Spread Dragon Wing

This is the most sculptural piece in the range. A metallic blue dragon is coiled around a crenelated rampart that wraps around the mug, with a golden dorsal crest raised and claws gripping the stone. The handle is a fully spread, membranous wing, with openwork between the phalanges. 450 ml. Find it among our viking mugs.

What Sets This Piece Apart

  • Double-walled: an outer sculpted resin shell and a removable food-grade stainless steel inner liner. Your drink only touches the metal.
  • Openwork wing handle: the gaps between the wing "fingers" are real, which lightens the silhouette despite its size.
  • Sculpted rampart: the crenellations and stonework wrap completely around the body of the mug.
  • Golden crest: the only warm metallic touch on an otherwise blue and grey piece.

Did you know?

The most impressive fortresses of the Viking world did not guard borders: they asserted power. Under Harald Bluetooth, Denmark was covered around 980 with circular camps—Trelleborg, Fyrkat, Aggersborg, Nonnebakken—of stunning geometry: a perfect circle, four gates aligned with the cardinal points, and halls grouped in regular quadrants. Dendrochronology has dated their timber to 980-981. They were abandoned in less than a generation.
