The Only Blue in the Range
This Viking tank top abandons black and white for a deep slate blue, lightened by chevrons on the flanks and a gradient toward the bottom. In the center of the chest, a circled Valknut, rendered in light lines. No figures, no animals: this is the most geometric model in the series. Find it in our collection of Viking tank tops.
For the same symbol treated with weapons, see the shield and axes model.
What Sets This Tank Top Apart
A geometric pattern is judged by its regularity: the slightest misalignment is visible where an organic design would have absorbed it.
- A unique color in the range: fifteen of the sixteen models are black or white. The slate blue stands out without being garish.
- Flank chevrons: the light bands follow the body's lines from armpit to hip, a design that lengthens the silhouette.
- No figures: no gods, no animals, no skulls — the only one in the range, making it the easiest to wear outside the gym.
- Gradient toward the bottom: the blue darkens at the hem, which avoids the uniform flatness of quick prints.
If you prefer a geometric pattern in black, see the Valknut and torches model.

Did you know?
The word "Valknut" is modern: it was coined in Norway in the 19th century from valr, those slain in battle, and knut, knot. No ancient source names this symbol. Yet, it is found engraved on real stones — the Stora Hammars I stone in Gotland, the Oseberg ship — almost always in a funerary context, which has fueled the hypothesis of a link with Odin and the transition to the afterlife. The hypothesis holds, but it remains an archaeologist's interpretation: the Scandinavians who carved it did not tell us what it meant.

Which tank top to choose?
| Type | What it looks like | When to choose it |
|---|---|---|
| All-over print, black and white | The design covers the whole garment, front and back, in two bold tones without color. | The core of the range: nine designs, from S to 6XL, the widest size range of the three families. |
| All-over print, gold or color this product | The same full coverage, but with gold, brick red or slate blue. | When the garment is meant to be seen. Four models, the most striking in the series, and the only ones that go beyond black and white. |
| Stretch knit or muscle cut | Two models whose knit contains elastane and moves with you, plus one muscle-cut model that covers the shoulder. | When the garment is really for training, or if thin straps don't suit you. Note: the muscle cut stops at 2XL. |
Choosing your size
The manufacturer provides no size chart for the tank tops in this range. We would rather tell you so than publish a measurement chart we would have made up.
The method that never fails: take a tank top or a T-shirt you already wear and that fits you well. Lay it flat and measure from one armpit seam to the other. Write this number down: it is your benchmark. You are comparing one garment with another, without going through a theoretical size, and theoretical sizes are precisely what vary from one manufacturer to another.
The cut runs small: narrower in the shoulders and shorter in the body than a European cut of the same size. If you are between two sizes, take the larger one: this is the advice that avoids the most returns.
Available sizes vary by model. Thirteen tank tops go from S to 6XL, two from S to 5XL, and the muscle-cut one stops at 2XL. Check the drop-down list on the product page before ordering: it is the one that counts.
A word about the letters. Beyond XXL, these labels follow no common standard: a 4XL, 5XL or 6XL has no fixed equivalent, and the same letter does not mean the same thing from one manufacturer to another. Do not trust the letter, trust the centimeter.
What is the exact color?
A slate blue, between gray and dark blue, with lighter chevrons on the sides and a gradient toward the bottom. It is the only blue model in our range.
What does the central symbol represent?
The Valknut, three interlocking triangles forming nine points, set within a circle. It is drawn in light lines on the blue background.
Are the chevrons printed or woven?
Printed. The fabric feels smooth and even to the touch: the apparent relief comes only from the drawing.
Is this model suitable for the gym?
Yes, that is what it is made for: breathable polyester, a close-fitting cut, open armholes.
